We entered the renewable energy power generation business in Germany in 2005 and have accumulated a development track record of over 1GW. We have been developing solar power plants in Japan since 2009, and so far we have connected 300 power plants with a capacity of over 250MW.

Ivan Nedin has more than 20 years of experience in financial management across various fields in the electronics and renewable energy industries.
He has been working for the company for more than 16 years, thus contributing to the successful financing of a 43 MW pipeline of projects in Bulgaria, as well as various company restructuring activities in Germany, France, Italy, Spain, and Cyprus.
He was part of the team that successfully listed the company on NASDAQ in 2014.
He is currently involved in maintaining appropriate activities across the group's companies in Luxembourg, Czechia, Bulgaria, and Italy.
He holds a master's degree in International Economic Relations and the ACCA Diploma in Financial Management.

Dipl.Eng. Svetlin Nikolov Staykov
Head of Engineering
Eng. Svetlin Staykov is an experienced electrical engineer with over 30 years of professional expertise in the design, construction, and management of power systems. He currently holds senior leadership roles as CTO, Technical and Project Manager at Sky Solar, with a strong focus on the development and operation & maintenance of photovoltaic power plants and energy storage systems (BESS) across Bulgaria and Europe. He has been part of Sky Solar for more than 15 years, where he plays a key role in the company’s technical and project development activities.He graduated from the Technical University of Sofia in 1996, earning a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (“Electrical Power Plants, Grids and Systems”). Since then, he has been actively involved in a wide range of power engineering projects, building extensive hands-on experience across the sector.He brings strong international experience in project management, team coordination, and the delivery of complex engineering solutions. He has contributed to the successful implementation of numerous energy and infrastructure projects, combining deep technical expertise with effective process and stakeholder management.
He is a member of the Chamber of Engineers in the Investment Design (CEID) with full design license and holds multiple international certifications in inverter technologies and energy systems.
He is recognized for his strong organizational skills, strategic mindset, and ability to perform effectively in a dynamic international environment.

Valeriy Yanakiev
Head of Sales
Valeriy Yanakiev has real hands-on experience in setting up commercial operations, gaining market share, and driving revenue growth and profitability. He has more than 20 years of senior commercial roles in various technology areas, including Renewable Energy, Telecom, Consumer Electronics, and others; experience in market analysis, go-to-market strategies, and market expansion; and a track record of building and leading high-performing sales teams in EMEA, APAC, and North and South America, consisting of up to 240 people. He is an expert in direct sales and sales through partners’ channels – EPC contractors, system integrators, dealers, distributors, and resellers; setting up the after-sales service networks; and complete P&L accountability for more than 30,000 Corporate and Strategic Accounts and an annual revenue exceeding 100 million euros. He has also executed operational efficiency increase projects with McKinsey & Company, Accenture, and Capgemini.
Prior to joining Sky Solar Holdings, Valeriy gained experience at companies such as Siemens AG and the Bulgarian Telecommunications Company.He holds a Master’s degree in Microelectronics Engineering from the Technical University of Sofia and has successfully completed the Sales Management Academy at Siemens AG and the Management Development Program at the Bulgarian Telecommunications Company.
In addition to native Bulgarian, Valeriy is fluent in English, French, and Russian, and has a moderate level of Greek.
